FAQs
How Initials work — series, editions, and what you receive.
What rights do I get?
Each Initial is sold only once, as a unique 1/1 artwork. The buyer receives full rights to the work — to use, display, and license it as they wish.
What is a Series?
A Series is created from the Initials of a particular font, with a shared artwork or style.
What is an Edition?
An Edition is a variant of a Series, created from the same Initials with a different artwork or style.
What is the Count?
Initials can consist of one, two, or three letters:
- Count 1 — a single letter, e.g. “A”
- Count 2 — two letters, e.g. “AA”
- Count 3 — three letters, e.g. “AAA”
How many Initials are there per Edition?
Each Edition is limited to at most 100 Initials.
What does Colour mean?
Colour describes whether an Initial is uni-coloured, two-coloured, or multi-coloured, on a coloured or transparent background:
- Uni-coloured — one colour only
- Two-coloured — two colours
- Multi-coloured — three or more colours
